Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Paudel took part in the Bhotojatra festival, a traditional celebration dedicated to Rato Machchhindranath, the deity associated with rain and agricultural abundance.

During the ceremony, an employee of the Guthi Sansthan Lalitpur showcased the Bhoto from the pinnacle of the Rato Machchhindranath chariot. This ritual takes place on the fourth day when the chariot is paraded from Lagankhel to Jawalakhel.
